Technology
SwissTech lenses employ advanced technologies to enhance vision correction and comfort. They feature Freeform Digital Surfacing for precise lens crafting, Optimized Visual Zones for improved near, intermediate, and distance vision, and Personalized Customization to cater to individual needs. Additionally, they include Anti-Reflection and Anti-Glare Coatings to reduce glare, Blue Light Filtering to lessen eye strain from screens, and Scratch-Resistant and Hydrophobic Coatings for durability and ease of maintenance. These innovations collectively ensure clear, comfortable, and customized vision. |
Myopia
Shortsightedness, or myopia, is a vision condition where distant objects appear blurry, but nearby objects are clear. It happens when the eye is too long or the cornea is too curved, causing light to focus in front of the retina instead of on it.
Hyperopia
Hyperopia, commonly known as farsightedness, is a condition in which close objects appear blurry, while distant ones remain clear. It happens when the eyeball is too short or the cornea is too flat, causing light to focus behind the retina rather than directly on it. This results in difficulty focusing on nearby tasks, such as reading.
Presbyopia
Presbyopia is an age-related condition where the eye gradually loses its ability to focus on nearby objects. It usually becomes apparent in individuals over 40 and occurs due to the stiffening of the eye's lens. This reduced flexibility makes it harder for the lens to switch focus between distant and close objects, resulting in blurred near vision.
Treatments
Blueblock
Blue light blocking lenses, often called "blueblock" lenses, are made to filter or block blue light from digital devices like computers, smartphones, and TVs, as well as from artificial lighting sources such as LED and fluorescent lights. Blue light wavelengths range from 400-500 nanometers, with the most harmful range thought to be between 415-455 nm.
Sunsition
SunSition is a proprietary photochromic lens designed to adapt seamlessly to changing light conditions, providing optimal comfort to the wearer. It offers 100% UV protection, remaining clear indoors and automatically darkening when exposed to sunlight. This dynamic adjustment ensures enhanced visual comfort and protection in both indoor and outdoor environments
Polarised
Swiss Pol lenses are polarized, crafted to minimize glare by filtering out horizontal light reflections. This enhances visual clarity and reduces eye strain, making them ideal for bright settings like near water, snow, or while driving, ensuring clearer and more comfortable vision
Tinted
Tinted lenses bring both style and functionality to eyewear. Offered in various colors, they improve contrast, reduce brightness, and provide comfort in various lighting environments. Whether for fashion or practicality, tinted lenses combine aesthetic appeal with protection, making them ideal for outdoor wear or as a bold fashion accessory
